Independent Contractor Driving Position Job Summary:
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Minimum of Two years of CDL Driving Experience
- Have a Current DOT Physical Card
- Dependable – Willing to work 5-6 days per week
- Successfully completed and passed pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pre-Trip and Post Trip Inspections completed daily
- Logbook or Timecards competed daily
- Keep Inside of Tractor Clean – all trash to be removed daily
- Have Truck and/or Trailer Washed Weekly.
- Complete and turn in all paperwork as required weekly
- Be here and on be Time
- Communicate with Mechanic to Report any issues with equipment
- Have your own Transportation to and from the Bradley Transportation Terminal, Athens GA.
- Haul and Deliver loads assigned
- Follow all traffic laws
