Mechanic Position Job Summary:

Performs complex preventative maintenance tasks, and troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of equipment.

• Standard vehicle maintenance
• Standard component inspections and repairs
• Preventative maintenance
• Diagnoses standard mechanical and electronic problems
• Identifies root cause of basic failures/conditions and perform repairs as required
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Performs facility maintenance duties, if requested.
• Interacts with Drivers to properly determine nature of complaint once assigned a task
• Repairs as needed to equipment
• Diagnoses and repairs differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, drives, air conditioning systems and electrical systems
• Performs tasks per preventative maintenance checklists
• Completes records such as work orders, checklists
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Two years of prior Heavy Equipment Diesel Maintenance Experience
• We Prefer that you have your own toolbox

• Must be at lease 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully completed and passed pre-employment drug screen
• Skill in operating tools, equipment, parts, and procedures utilized during the repair and servicing of vehicles and equipment, skill in repair of special purpose equipment, ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks, ability to diagnose defects in and repair a variety of equipment and knowledge of Tire Maintenance Program.
